rare Assurancetourix bard Asterix m muhleck vintage plush

Rare and large vintage collectible plush representing the famous and memorable bard of the Gaulish village, Assurancetourix. This collectible piece was made in Germany by the quality brand M. Mühleck International under official license with the copyright Les Éditions Albert René / Goscinny - Uderzo (original fabric label perfectly legible). This large retro plush is approximately 38 cm in height. The character has all his original attributes, including his blue shoes, white breeches, blue checkered tunic, and his famous red cape. It is generally in good condition for its age. A small amusing and authentic detail to note: the top of his head and the bright yellow faux fur hair has turned black in a small area at the very top of the head. You could say he is a survivor who lingered a bit too close to the wood fire during the final banquet or that he has suffered from the wrath of the village from singing too much! This gives it a unique charm and a very amusing textured look. Ideal for a collector of old pop culture toys!
