Beautiful antique talking plate in Terre De Fer, stamped HB & Cie France – Hippolyte Boulenger, with polychrome decoration. Model “Cavaliers n°7”, representing a military scene titled: “Combined infantry and cavalry maneuvers”. Very nice historical decor, finely printed and then enhanced with colors, surrounded by a blue frieze. The slightly beveled format gives it a lot of charm. A nice collectible piece, particularly decorative, interesting for fans of talking plates, Terre De Fer and old French earthenware. Good general condition for its age: no chips, no cracks. Presence of a visible scratch on the decor as well as slight signs of wear and a patina/craquelure of the enamel due to age. See photos.
