Very nice set of 6 antique flat plates in iron clay from the Gien manufactory, Bengal model. A superb blue, very fine and graphic decor, arranged around the entire edge of the plates, associated with a beautiful patinated ivory hue. The whole is particularly harmonious and presents a uniform patina. The Bengal model is now quite rare and poorly documented. Each plate bears on the reverse the stamp: Opaque porcelain from Gien - Iron Clay - Bengal. Antique condition with traces of time visible in the photos: one plate has a small non-traversing hair on the front. Three plates have chips on the back, one with two chips. Also presence of enamel cracks, small marks, patina and signs of use related to age. The other plates are in good general condition.
