Beautiful antique iron earthenware plate from the Creil et Montereau manufactory, Compiègne model. A rare and particularly decorative model, with a superb deep green printed decor composed of floral motifs, scrolls, and characters in a very fine late 19th / early 20th century spirit. Marked on the reverse: Creil et Montereau – Compiègne – Terre de Fer. A very nice piece of antique tableware, ideal for wall decoration, in a china cabinet, or to complete an iron earthenware collection. Good general condition considering its age: no chips and no cracks. However, it shows signs of use, including scratches, a few small stains, and old marks visible in the photos.
