Antique barbotine dessert plate - embossed leaf decor - yellow and green

Very pretty small antique barbotine dessert plate, adorned with a superb embossed large leaf plant design, enameled in beautiful shades of green, ochre and brown on a finely textured bright yellow background. A very decorative model, typical of early 1900s barbotine earthenware, perfect for completing a collection of antique tableware or for display as wall decoration. Number 170 recessed under the base. Good general condition considering its age. Some signs of use, small chips and small enamel jumps, especially on the reverse and occasionally on the design. No major defects noted.
