Antique Sarreguemines Terre de Fer Opaque Teapot – Blue Checkerboard Frieze

Elegant antique teapot from the famous Opaque factory of Sarreguemines, decorated with a delicate frieze of small blue tiles that gives it a lot of charm. Its generous shape and sober decor make it a very beautiful piece for both a collection and a kitchen or dining room decoration in a chic country style or family home. Stamped Opaque de Sarreguemines under the base. A pretty old piece full of character that will easily find its place in a collection of earthenware or as a decoration. It is in good general condition. Note a crack on the handle (see photos), but it remains perfectly stable and solid, without hindering its use.
